For many of you the recent heat waive can be detrimental to your health. High Temperatures can be hard on Equipment as well. With heavy equipment and Tractors here are some Tips to "Beat the Heat" 1) Make sure Anti-freeze/coolant levels are topped off. 2) Check belts that turn your engine cooling fans. 3) Check that Radiators are not plugged up from dirt, dust And Debri.. 4) Check Engine Air Filters to ensure they are clean and exhaust is not blocked. Check/Change Engine Oil and filters ensuring it is fresh Small Air Cooled Engines are affected most.. 1) Make sure Engine Block Fins and other areas are clear of debri. 2) Try to use them in the early mornings /late afternoons for cooler temps. 3) Check Engine Air Filters to ensure they are clean and exhaust is not blocked. 4) Check/Change Engine Oil and filters ensuring it is fresh and do NOT use Automotive Engine Oils - use ONLY Small Engine Oil as Automotive oils no long meet requirements for small engines. These are a few steps to increase your Engine Life.
