For my weekly Philadelphia Zoo Gorilla Soap Opera updates I have been focusing so much on Motuba, Kira and Honi, that I have neglected to mention the bachelor troop, Kuchimba and Louis. Last Saturday, Kuchimba was in the indoor exhibit area while the soap opera troop was outside. He was sitting close to the glass, so it was very difficult to see him through the glare and reflections. But I was able to use a combination video editing software programs to create this interesting effect so everyone can see how wonderfully expressive Kuchimbas face is. (The video is in slow motion so you can see his wonderful face as it changes while he chews his treat and looks at the visitors.)
