For now I will just say that today we had a wonderful BBQ by the lake among international students, we were all invited by our Libyan classmate to join her and celebrate the Muslim Festival of the Sacrifice, and together with us there was one of our professors, joined by his wife and children. I had never celebrated a Muslim festivity, but I could feel that today we were not having “just” a student party: we were celebrating like a big family, and in this relaxed, informal and funny environment classmates and professors are just like family. We had a great day today, we’ve had a great month in September.
