For over a year now I have been living with what my doctor diagnosed as severe anxiety. I have been on several medications that never seemed to do the trick. I have also been seen for many other ailments such as chronic bronchitis, sinusitis, IBS, and heart palpitations, but no medications have ever worked. I have KNOWN that something was wrong, but could never pinpoint what it was, and was beginning to feel like a hypochondriac. It was not until today that I finally feel that someone has diagnosed me correctly, and finally see a light at the end of this annoying problem. I was at the chiropractor for my neck and back, which has been extremely painful for me lately. My anxiety has been especially bad this week...rapid heartbeat, chest tightness, not breathing correctly, extremely red and hot face and chest...so I brought this up to him. After running some tests, his diagnosis is Adrenal Gland Disorder. Its not a serious thing, just a condition which can (fingers crossed) be treated with a few adjustments to my life and supplements...but the RELIEF I feel about FINALLY having a correct diagnosis is indescribable. Just the thought of being able to finally feel better, and not constantly feel like something is wrong...well, I feel better already! :)
