For over four years now, Ashley Slattery has consistently shared dreams of ways she would one day serve the homeless and/or impoverished, and its been fun to see how God has grown her vision, her knowledge, her faith, and her skills. I just read a 300 word essay she wrote detailing her plans to pursue engineering in order to help bring clean water and energy to those in third world countries. So why am I posting this? Because with college approaching, shes looking for avenues (and scholarships) to do just that.
