For the LOVE of Christ COMPELS us, because WE JUDGE thus: that if One DIED for ALL, then ALL DIED; and He [Jesus] died for ALL, that those who LIVE should LIVE no longer for THEMSELVES, but for Him who DIED for them and ROSE AGAIN (2 Corinthians 5:14, 15)… It NEVER CEASES to AMAZE me how so many in the Body of Christ really BELIEVE that this Christian life and SERVING God is ALL about THEM/US. You hear it in their WORDS and their MESSAGES, and SEE it in their LIFESTYLES – BELIEVING that Jesus SAVED us so that WE can LIVE BETTER LIVES here on earth, and have the VERY BEST life has to offer (money, wealth, materialism, success, etc.), but ALL at the EXPENSE of those whom don’t know Jesus in the parting of, and FORGIVENESS of, their SINS. So many Christians have been DECEIVED and DERAILED from Jesus’ #1 PRIORITY for our lives after being Born Again – to SEEK and to SAVE the LOST. Instead, we want God to make us WEALTHY and MATERIALISTICALLY set so we’ll never FEAR being BROKE or SUFFERING LACK to CONSUME upon our own LUSTS. But Jesus DIED not for us to PURSUE our DESTINIES or WANTS or DESIRES, but rather to LIVE strictly and SOLELY for Him! Living FOR Jesus means REACHING OUT to the LOST SINNER with the Gospel of SALVATION every chance we get – ESTEEMING their REDEMPTION more than our own PERSONAL GAIN!!!
