For the boss Today in 1981 - A minutes silence was held before our First Division meeting with Swansea City at Anfield in honour of Bill Shankly, who had died four days earlier. Terry McDermott netted both our goals from the spot as we came from two goals down to draw 2-2. The Swans were managed by ex-red John Toshack, who was wearing a Liverpool shirt in Shanks honour. Leighton James converted a penalty with Bob Latchford netting the last of his five goals past us. https://youtube/watch?v=i-jwClzsDog
