For the first time in your life, you receive a payslip document that reads ‘Engineer’ - you get a different picture in your head. So many responsibilities suddenly appear. You’ve got to make sure invest for the future, save up for house to move into after youre married, the future sports car, still be there to take care of your parents as they get older. Not just fulfilling the role of a son but also a brother to still be able to protect and be there for your sister regardless of her age. Lastly, to the future wife, not just being a responsible boyfriend and future husband but also being there guide, help and make sure she grows in whatever she’s independently doing so one day when the daughter comes along I’d be able to go down one knee and strap on her princess backpack every morning and if its a son, being there to strap on his guards when he gets onto the field for whatever sport it is and cheer him on like you are his coach. Regardless of where their passion takes them, all you want for them to say is, “I want to be successful and happy like my daddy.” It’s all about being there on their special days with the queen of your heart looking over their shoulders knowing there will be no other man on this planet that will ever care, protect and love her more than you do!
