For the past week Ive been getting marketing advice from four marketers I consider to be heavy hitters when it comes to business! What I noticed is they all have one thing in common (all but one). They all have AMAZING women beside them! I honestly believe that ALL men are good men with the potential to become GREAT men! They just need a solid woman beside them who respects, loves and believes in what they are trying to create! This level of respect is earned and not given and that is where many WOMEN fail! If we arent there to give a man 150% back up, if we arent there to be in his corner or root him on, he most likely wont be the stand up strong powerful man we need him to be. On the flip side of that coin, if men dont lead from the VERY beginning of a relationship...say, the first date then they will often end up being placed in a category I call second best. This doesnt mean they are bad men. It just means that they did not clarify their role from the beginning! The male role! My advice to women...go out and build your Empire, have children if you so desire and run your household when it comes to your womanly duties! But for Lords sake, ALLOW A MAN TO BE A MAN! My advice to the men...LEAD US! Notice I didnt say control! I said lead! Ive dated a neuro surgeon and a powerful CEO of a billion dollar empire that could not lead me if I handed them a leash! Ive also dated a man years ago who people literally questioned why I was with that laid down the law from day one! Unfortunately consistency seemed to be an issue. Trust me when I say this! Once the two roles are clearly defined in a relationship, life will be bliss! #Lifelesson
