For this is the day The Lord has made... Let us rejoice and be glad in it! As I woke to a big smack in the face from Nash at 4:30am (he must be dreaming) this was the second thing that popped into my head after what was that!!! As I hit my breaking point yesterday I somehow have found more peace and hope... This always happens in all the storms weve had in life the last several years... Where I think I am letting God carry the load for me cause I working hard, coping, working working doing doing and doing my best not to feel. Then BAM my breaking point. The point where God says... The devil gave you more then you can handle, but not more then I can handle, so give me your pain, your circumstances, and your heavy load. I kept telling myself, these are just things be thankful, this too shall pass... I was saying the right things but deep down inside broken and questioning if we should have moved. This morning with confidence and more inner peace that God provided at my breaking point that yes we still are extremely blessed to have moved. The devil worked awfully hard making us question the blessing from God. Water will stop coming in, we will get the mess cleaned up, things fixed and most things replaced... Funds will come they always have and yes Emily Blair we will be sitting on the dock fishing and laughing in five years! Once again Ive learned that it is okay to break... I likely need to do it sooner... Break meaning letting God carry the load. He is bigger like I told Blair while under the stairs when she asked if I was scared. I am rejoicing in our health, family helping, friends helping, the cool weather and that God indeed made this day and every day no matter how big and bad our circumstances are He is bigger and He can totally carry the load that we cannot! Thank you for the prayers. May we all keep praying for all people and living things that God created and have been effected by the waves of storms!
