For those asking how to send assistance to the City of Zamboanga, please be informed that the city created trust fund accounts with Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) and LandBank of the Philippines (LBP) where donations may be deposited/remitted. Please note attached advisory issued by Mayor Beng Climaco and Sanggunian Resolution 781 declaring the calamity. May I just emphasize our special request to donors to email their deposit slips to zambocitygovt@gmail or fax to (062) 9912185 for proper reconciliation so that the city may issue individual receipt for each donation as required by existing government rules and regulations to ensure transparency and proper accountability.
