For those of my friends who are singers I came up with very cool/interesting form of sheet music in a form of a lyric sheet, now Im not sure what to call this but it really isnt anything like sheet music and here are the reasons why. Now when it comes to melodies, theyre are 3 aspects to a melody, the notation, duration of the notes, and the numeric code. now regular sheet music shows you the notation and the duration of the notes (quarter notes, sixteenth notes, etc.) but what it doesnt show you is the numeric code, so I came up with this new form of sheet music that decodes a melody using numbers. now this not only the show you whats the melodys numeric code, but it shows you the letters/notation so its easy to understand.
