For those of you watching the colorized version of I Love Lucy, allow me to enlighten you on some interesting fact that only a girl that grew up in Lucys hometown of Jamestown, New York might know...... 1. Lucy really wasnt born in Jamestown, NY, but a neighboring town of Celeron, NY. (She did go to Jamestown High School though). 2. My Aunt, Zoe Laskaris, went to high school with Lucy. 3. Zoe went out to LA to visit Lucy and she made Zoe come over to her piano to look at the picture of great guy she was dating. (It was Dezi Arnez). 4. In Jamestown, NY there is a Lucy museum. Usually one of her children come back for the events every year. 5. At the Lucy Fest hosted in Jamestown every year, there is a Lucy look alike competition and you can actually stomp grapes with your feet, just like that Lucy episode! 6. In Jamestown, many buildings are adorned with gigantic murals of your favorite Lucy episodes. 7. Lucy is buried in the same cemetery as my grandparents with a very simple headstone that says, BALL. 8. She always will have a special place in our heart.
