For those of you who are getting tired of my thoughts.... Dont waste your time... Its just another one of my rambles. Ok, this is what I do when I cant sleep. This has been on my mind all day. Dont know why I think things like this, but here it is. First of all, for the ones that decided to read this.... Do you think your grown? If so, at what point did you decide,Im actually grown! Ive got this! I wonder if anyone is ever really grown. Do you become grown at a certain point or do you continue growing your whole life? I think Im in the second group. I dont see myself ever being grown. Im old enough, Ive been through enough, Ive survived plenty... But Im not there. I think about high school sometimes. The most popular girl in school was beautiful... She grew up and lost her looks. The fat girl grew up and got a smoking figure, the skinny girl got fat, the good girls went bad, the bad girls just moved on and became moms or got jobs, the smart girls just work a regular job. The quite girls are living in NYC conquering the world. But are any of us grown? Yes, we have responsibilities, things we have to do to survive. Just because you do those things, does that mean Your grown? What about those nights you lay in bed and cry and beg God to show you the way? Do you really care about others? Are you comfortable or content? Are you grown then? Are you honest? Do you judge others? Do you lie to get your way? Do you manipulate? Do you have deep secrets? Are you trying to change any of those things? My theory Is... You may never be grown. If you are... Your standing still. Dont you want to always keep growing? I do. I dont think Im ever going to grow enough to feel fully grown. God has given us so many things to strive for in our lives. If we try to be the best we can be in HIS EYES... We must still be growing. I know I havent made it yet. So, for me... Ill keep growing and maybe by the time I get to heaven... Maybe then Ill be grown. Thank you God for letting me see that I have a lot more growing to do and that you love me through every stage. Im So thankful That you see the areas Ive improved on, and thank you for showing me what to work on. I wonder... Am I behind because I dont feel grown yet.... Or am I ahead because I know I still have work to do? Thank you God for showing me MY way. I am still Your child... You are still my father... Lead away... Im Following. Im growing. Amen.
