For those of you who are not familar with auctions. The horses are sold cash only by bidding. They have to be paid for right then and there We cannot tell how much a horse is going to sell for. We go early so we can post photos and information 2 3 or 4 hours before the sale starts. If you see a horse you want or want to help you can contact us at that time as noted below by message on fb ortext by phone. It is too noisy and the signal is weak so we cannot usually speak on the phone We post all the information we have as we get it Once the sale starts there is no time to try to respond to questions or messages The bidding is over quick . We cannot possibly respond to facebook posts and keep an eye on the sale. We go to be a safety net for horses that clearly need it . This time the sale had a lot of "pricier" horses , there were a lot that no -saled becaue the seller wanted more money. We hope the ones that sold went to good homes. After the sale we found out some were going to the next auction and next until they sold. Thats hard on a horse especially in this heat We would love to be able to buy them all and rehome them carefully but the auction donations we received were $50 and our already rescued horses are not sponsered by donations either We cant help them all by ourselves and its devistating to see horses loaded up knowing they are circling the drain and feel helpless to stop it.
