For those of you who do not know what is going on and are willing to pray for my best friend, Traci and her son Micah and family... this is the latest update from this morning: Just met with the neurosurgeon. He feels like Micahs weakness on his right side and lack of speech are due to swelling on his brain, etc. He told us to expect these to possibly get a little worse over the next couple days before they get better, because the swelling will most likely increase before it begins to decrease. He is planning surgery to remove the tumor for next Monday, 12/9. We dont know for sure yet, but he is anticipating removing it thru his nose. Micah is frustrated because he cant speak and do things that he wants to. We are trying to reassure him that he is doing awesome. He is still pretty sleepy and not interacting much. Please forgive me if Im not able to respond to each text, call, message or comment. Im doing my best to try to let everyone know how much we appreciate you and we are so thankful we dont have to walk this journey alone. Our lives have taken an unimaginable turn over the last 36 hours. Thank you all for your prayers, concern and for loving us so good.
