For those out there with PTSD, know that you are not alone. I am living it myself. I lost my beloved career at Microsoft. I lost my friends, and I keep losing those I manage to make since my deployment. I lost my family, to the point where they have secret holiday get-togethers without me. I lost my faith -- in God, in myself, in my government, my country, and in humanity in general. I didnt lose everything. I have a house and a new car. I have the best dog in the world. I have regained the will to live. But I have lost much that will never be regained. And to my fellow veterans, I say, Descend with me into the sacred tomb, that we might arise resurrected -- not the same as before, but transformed. Have a blessed Easter, everyone.
