For those who love trees, diversity and sustainable design with people and nature in mind, the Forest Policy Group (FPG), an independent Scottish forestry think-tank, has re-vamped its website and included a Blog for the first time, at forestpolicygroup.org. The Blog aims to stimulate discussion on how forestry is practised in Scotland, and will feature writers from the Group as well as occasional guests who are leading thinkers in related fields. Initial posts cover topics as varied as forestry for people, the opportunity to establish ‘starter forests’, and the background to forest policy changes over the years.
