For weeks now we have been reading in the press, and hearing on television news vague, and sometimes not-so-vague, assertions that ISIS, or ISIL as some call it, is being funded by wealthy Saudis, or by other Arabs of means based in Dubai and other centres of Middle-Eastern Muslim (Mostly Oil) Money. Now I am increasingly hearing from Arab and Muslim friends all over the world that their news, and their word-fo-mouth information, has it the financing is coming right out of the good ole United States of America. What to believe? There are indeed interests in this country that just love the idea of destabilizing foreign governments, and indeed have been actively doing so since before the Revolutionary war. Its all a variation of one of the oldest ploys in the book, one Caesar knew well, and one of the first lessons taught at our military academies: Divide and Conquer. Let them destroy their ability to effectively govern themselves and sweep in with a malleable substitute. Like Reza Pahlavi was and Saddam was supposed to be... Are these interests powerful enough to dupe our leaders into playing right along into their game? I believe so. Discussion?
