For you, Curt Peterson :) While out and about the other day I heard this and knew I heard Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson in the mix. I didnt know which song it was but jotted down a few lyrics so I could find it for you later. I began searching on Sunday and learned the song is, Big River, but could not find a version with the two, anywhere! I searched a little further tonight....and did you know the two teamed up with Kris Kristofferson and Waylon Jennings to form, The Highwaymen (around 1985...not long before I first met you :) )? And well, here is the version of Big River that I heard the other day ...featuring two of your favorite guys ~ Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson. Ill be darned if I couldnt find a version with Emmylou Harris in the mix...but give me time ;)
