For your Fun on Friday today we have a video. This is from the Saturday of Billy Bowlegs just a couple weeks ago. The video is of the Reeds Raiders artillery crew loading and firing the museums pattern 1841 mountain howitzer. It takes six crew members to load and fire the cannon and each crew member has a specific task in the precise nine-step process. We do not fire any projectiles from the cannon so all you see loaded is the powder charge. The video is just over one minute long and the ending boom is worth the wait. Video by Kristen Weech.
