Forever is such a beautiful word. And it does exist. But if were going to relate it with stupid things like teenage love that isnt even serious yet, it loses its value. The word loses its meaning. Forever isnt you and the chocolates you got from your boyfriend. It isnt the pink card you gave him on your monthsary, or the sweet words you say to him at night. Forever is waaay deeper than that. Forever is the way your grandparents happily sing along to their theme song. Forever is how that old couple in the street walks hand in hand. Forever is love. Love is forever. It exists, but we shouldnt expect for it to come at this time. Were young, were free. We make promises and fail to fulfill it. We break rules. We sing out loud along our favorite pop song. We dance as if nobody is watching. In the end, were just children promising each other something that we all know, we cannot fulfill. And that is forever.
