Forget diamonds...SQUATS are a girls best friend!! I try to work these into my routine as much as possible! They can absolutely transform your legs & booty! Effectively works butt, hips & thighs Engages the quads, hamstrings & calf muscles to strengthen & tone your legs Abdominal & back muscles are also engaged to strengthen & tighten core Increases joint flexibility Typically- feet hip width apart, drive heels down & lower from hips as if sitting on a chair Knees aligned with feet - thighs parallel to floor if possible Squeeze the abs & butt- slow is better...ouch! Heres an example of 5 different ways you can squat using; ✅Rage ball ✅Jump & reach to ceiling ✅Resistance tubing ✅Bosu ✅Barbell Pick one - try starting with 3 sets of 10. Increase at your own pace. Always keeping in mind proper form & creating a program designed for your specific needs in terms of strength, stamina, stability, medical conditions & injuries.
