Forgiveness. Like a teacher who plans a teaching unit,my personal unit and personal item to work on is forgiveness. On my last post about forgiveness, my dear and wise friend, Ron Hudson Jr.posted that forgiveness makes him look at himself. I did just that. Forgiveness is not a one-way street. Who am I to only worry about myself forgiving others. I am certain that I need forgiveness from others, too. When I am hurt or perceive that I (or my family) am being attacked, I lash out. It is so much easier to express outward anger than show inward hurt or vulnerability. So, with that, I pray for forgiveness from those that I have hurt. I cringe at those moments when in the passion of my youth, I hurt someone. Please forgive me.
