Forty five years ago this past weekend I remember watching the national news for any updates on the Woodstock Festival. The media coverage was minimal mainly reflecting of the conditions and the mass crowds and the chaos that resulted. It was a year or two later that the albums and the movie came out and I realized that beyond my control I had missed out on a once in a lifetime event. Although I did attend many other concerts and music festivals over the years, I dont think any can compare to Woodstock 1969.
