Forty-one years ago today, the Supreme Court ruled on the landmark case, Roe v. Wade. In their decision, they reaffirmed a womans constitutional right to make her own decisions regarding her healthcare. In recent years, right-wing extremists have done all they could to chip away at this constitutional right. At an alarming rate, state legislatures & the House GOP have introduced intrusive bills that attempt to restrict the individual liberty of women throughout this nation. As we remember this landmark case today, we must continue to be vigilant against those who wish to limit our constitutional rights and to fight back when necessary.
