Found out last night that my 18 year old daughter has been talking with a man that is 10 years older than her. Not sure how I feel about this. I love my daughter with all of my heart and dont want to see her hurt.. She really has no experience with boys and I dont want to see her hurt or get into a situation that she doesnt know how to handle. I pray that she will pray over any decisions that she makes and that she will seek guidance for anything that she feels uncomfortable with. I pray that she will let God guide her in what is right and wrong and not let this boy overwhelm her and push her into situations that she is not prepared for. I pray that this man steps up and will come and meet us, her brothers are very upset that he is so much older than her and are on the defensive and want to protect their sister! i worry for my little girl and dont know that as a mother if I am ready to let her go, I so wnat to be there to protect her from any hurt that may come but I also know that I need to let her make her own mistakes. Now i know how my mother felt raising me and my sisters! I pray for Gods guidance in this!
