Four men and a lady in Jos, Ahmed Mohamed, Ladi Barau Khalid, Rabo Adamu Gero, Mallam Usman Haruna and Ibrahim Usman are claiming N1billion as exemplary damages from the Police service commission and the Plateau State Government over alleged pains and sufferings from an attack on them sometime in 2010. Also joined in the suit filed by their counsel Ahmed Garba are the then Commissioner of Police Gregory Ayantin and Yiljap Abraham then General Manager PRTVC whose actions they claimed caused the attacks on them on the 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st of January 2010. After listening to the counsels, the Presiding Judge Justice Anthony Olagua fix December for judgement.
