Fox & Weeks is privileged to serve the family and loved ones of Carl Lunsford Jordan, Sr., 78, who died on Saturday January 25 at Candler Hospital. He was born in 1935 to the late Ernest and Hattie Jordan. Carl was retired from General Motors after 30 years of service, and from the Sapelo Island Post Office as the Postmaster. He was also a Mason. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Jordan, of Richmond Hill, son, Carl Jordan, Jr., (Emma), of Douglasville, GA, daughter, Shelly Louise Henley (Will), of Jacksonville, FL, grandchildren, Rachael and Morgan Henley, sister, JoAnn Snider, of Savannah, and nephew, Donald Snider, Jr. A Memorial Service will be at 11 am on Wednesday at the Fox & Weeks Hodgson Chapel.
