Frances & I were living in Orofino, Idaho right on the Clearwater River when the last Wanagan came down from the log camp at Headwaters on the upper river. Dworshak Dam put an end to this way of life for some hard men. It was a sight to see. & something Ill always remember. 2 years prior, I was driving a propane truck to the camp every 3 weeks and it was quite a trip - 50 miles up River from Pierce, ID.
