Fredericksburg peeps! Have some old furniture around your house that could use a facelift? Painter and decorator extraordinaire, Debbie Cress, will be in town on Friday, September 19th and has offered to teach an ANNIE SLOAN CHALK PAINT painting class for up to 5 people at my house. Heres what the class is about... You will learn how to transform your furniture and so much more using chalk paint by Annie Sloan. Topics to be included but not limited to are: • PREPPING BRUSHES & FURNITURE FOR PAINT • PROPER PAINTING TECHNIQUE AND TIPS • DISTRESSING (SANDPAPER & WATER) • WAX (CLEAR AND DARK) • FINISHING & POLISHING You won’t just be watching the instructor, you must come dressed ready to paint because you will learn by doing the techniques yourselves. Once the class is over you will have all the knowledge to begin and finish your own projects at home. What makes this paint different is that you have almost no prep to begin painting. Projects are completed quickly and put back in service immediately. No primer is needed and there is virtually no odor. It sticks to almost any surface and the results are unique and professional.
