Free Homeownership & Estate Planning Workshop Set for June 22 The Economic Security Initiative Committee consisting of representatives from the Alabama Cooperative Extension System’s Family Life Center, the Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, the Huntsville Housing Authority, Alabama Asset Building Coalition, and Sparkman Homes Boys & Girls Club will observe National Homeownership Month on Saturday, June 22 by providing a free public workshop. The "Building Wealth: Strategic Planning in Securing Your Financial Future through Homeownership and Estate Planning" workshop will run from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Oscar Mason Community Center located at 149 Mason Court in Huntsville. Topics will include homeownership, financial planning, mortgage information, estate planning, insurance policy and coverage, Section 8, Habitat for Humanity, and much more. Refreshments will also be provided as well as games and activities for children and youth ages 4 to 14. This is an event the whole family can enjoy!
