Free Public Workshop...Living with Fire in Northern New Mexico: Fire, Forests and Communities When: November 16, 2013 - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Where: Santa Fe Community College this interactive workshop on November 16, 2013 in the Jemez Rooms of the Santa Fe Community College from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Local and regional scientists and land managers will deliver presentations followed by question and answer periods. County Commissioner Kathy Holian, will kick off the workshop and we’ll hear from experts including Tom Swetnam Director, Laboratory of Tree‐Ring Research from the University of Arizona, Craig Allen Research Ecologist for the US Geological Survey among a prestigious list of many others. Breakout sessions will allow for open dialogue with participants and presenters. At the conclusion of the workshop, time will be allotted for one on one with speakers and sponsors.
