There are some exlusions Some people dont qualify. As council and housing association homes have their own schemes, they arent suitable for this one. If you live in a block of flats, the whole block needs to do the insulation. If youve existing loft insulation, itll need to be less than 60mm thick and cover less than a third of the loft to qualify for this deal. British Gas can only insulate homes where a certain amount of carbon will be saved. It decides this on a case by case basis, but says 90% of homes qualify. If you don’t meet its criteria and need to pay cash for the insulation, it will tell you before you go ahead. Youve got until at least 31 May to apply for the deal.
