Freeze-frame replays showed that Lionel Messis strike against Atletico on Saturday was in fact incorrectly ruled out because the ball came off a rival defender (Juanfran) and not Cesc Fabregas, so was therefore not offside. Just to be clear, Im not blaming the referees at all. They have a very tough job. They have to decide within milliseconds and that too without any slow-mo replays. Most of us thought it was offside too even after seeing the replays, during the game. NOT BLAMING REF AT ALL. Our own organization is to blame for the way this season has gone.
