Fresh from an exciting win at this years Coke Games the next athlete we are profiling today is up and coming Fiji athlete, Younis Bese. Younis Bese 100 metres Federation: Fiji Age: 18 Personal Best: 12.01 -April 2014 – Suva - Fiji Coke Games Season Best: 12.01 – April 2014 – Suva – Fiji Coke Games Younis is only just embarking on her international athletics career but has started strongly with a silver medal behind the Queen of the Pacific Toea Wisil, at the 2013 Pacific Mini Games in Wallis and Futuna. With Fiji’s recent return into the Commonwealth Games Younis will also make her Commonwealth Games debut this year in Glasgow later this year. Younis is still completing her final year of secondary school at Jasper Williams High in Fiji. Jasper has won the Girls Coke Games overall trophy for the past 2 years.
