Friday, 10/18 Update: Today we officially began our second month here and it feels like our second decade...but today was a better day for Teresa...I think she felt better with her performances in the therapy sessions, and one of the therapists helped her wash and do her hair....(I asked her whats wrong with a ball cap???) She even has several pages of homework due Monday.... Of course shell put it off till late Sunday night!!! Dr. Mantle, the trach doctor, visited early this morning, examined her throat, and deduced that she still has some breathing blockage that needs to be alleviated before the trach comes out and we get to leave...apparently it looks like another 2 weeks. Oh well, like we said before...we want her to be healthy when we leave, cuz we dang sure dont wanna come back anytime soon!!! Thanks again, Peroes, for your prayers...I think thats what gave her the more positive attitude today!!! Looking forward to a good weekend...guess well watch a lot of football...Happy weekend to you all....Love Ya, Mean It!!!
