Friday Evening Meditation: Leaving or Staying? "Then said JESUS unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?" (John 6:67) JESUS had just preached a tough message on the true bread and drink, to those who had gathered to hear HIM. Some call it a back-door revival because many went back, determined to follow JESUS no more. HE, then asked the question of HIS twelve disciples which was probably filled with much concern, "Will ye also go away?" I wonder tonight what would have happened if JESUS had been allowed to give HIS position on the Supreme Court rendering a few days ago. How many of those who claim to be Christians would have went back determined never to follow JESUS again. Beloved HE has made HIS position clear, it is called The Word of GOD.
