Friday: Ive been in the South Waikato today with coffee catch ups at Rhubarb cafe in Arapuni and the Crazy Cow cafe in Putaruru. Also sent time visiting businesses in Putaruru including popping in to see the newly opened Wooden Farmer cafe in Putaruru. In Tokoroa I caught up with the Principal of Forest View High School and was really excited by some of the new initiatives at the school. It is fantastic to see how they are working closely with local businesses so that students have even more opportunities when they gain their qualifications and to partner with the school in leadership development. I also met with the Head Students to talk about the Taupo Youth Advisory Board.
