Friday night Champlain lost a historic landmark. St Marys Academy. This was a tremendous loss to the community. The school was a place where many went to play Basketball, Zumba classes and religion classes to name a few. It was also the meeting place for our Boy Scout Troop. We also stored our equipment in our meeting room. We are very fortunate that we have found a new meeting place. We also received a generous donation of equipment from Jim Cairns and Troop 37. This will put us on the way to recovering from our loss. We have more to do and we are working hard. Lets also remember the loss to Champlain and St. Marys Church
