Friendly, helpful Radio Shack staffers? what world are you living in? If Amazon killed RS, as this article claims, then RS was in on it. The compensation model for store managers is really sad. Id say the compensation for employees is pretty poor too. They also treat them all like thieves which in turn gets them all thinking like thieves. I (obviously) worked at RS and I was in leadership. They have problems with inventory management, disgruntled staff, substandard products, and non-competitive prices. The corpse has been rotting for some time.
