Friends -- we are going all out on this rally this coming Friday morning at 9:00 AM in Gastonia and we need your help. We are very concerned that having blocked the Affordable Care Act from full implementation in some states, including NC, by turning down Medicaid expansion and refusing to set up state exchanges, far right lawmakers are now in the process of trying to undo the ACA entirely by holding Congressional Oversight Committee hearings that are pusposefully stacked with individuals opposed to the ACA. We want to make sure that real people with real needs -- needs that are now being met through the ACA -- also get to have a say, and that the hearings are real hearings, not sham proceedings being used for political purposes. After all, OUR tax dollars are paying for these hearings.
