Friends, On this very exact day, November 23rd (24th here in australia because of wibby wobbly timey wimey.....stuff) 51 years ago, a cultural phenomenon was born. I am of course referring to the fact that 51 years ago, Doctor Who was born. an event that would shake the boundaries of what you could do on television foe years to come. the creations of the single oldest Science Fiction television franchise ever! older than star trek, firefly, alien, star wars, Red Dwarf, Hitchikers Guide To The Galaxy, Stargate, Lost, Babylon 5, Blade Runner, 2001 A Space odyssey, creating one of the greatest cultural phenomenons the world has ever seen. having over 12 (now 13) actors playing the main role, it is now the biggest sourc of revenue for the BBC ever created. It is still currently being watched and loved by millions and millions of people around the globe, on television and on the BIG SCREEN. as an avid nerdtastic fan of thhis franchise for more than a decade, I extend my deepest thanks to the following people: William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, John Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul Mcgann, John Hurt, Christoper Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith (still friggin hate this guy) and finally Peter Capaldi. keep going strong Doctor who, dont stop being awesome. https://youtube/watch?v=M2RSVNDUfXA
