Friends...family....I am sick and tired of being recommended to people on buy sell and trade groups. I have only had 2 people order from me that has either found something I posted or somebody recommending me from a group out of many many posts. I was having a good time at my sisters last night until I saw I got recommended to make something that somebody requested and then the another person had the nerve to say carrie is too expensive. Order from *so and so*. It ruined my night and hurt my feelings. I love all of you that did back me up though (and my sister and brother in law jokingly offer to burn my competitions houses down to try and cheer me up. Lol)! Carries Crochet has now become a name brand for the area. I have shirts out to support me, my own car decal advertising myself, I am getting customized buttons with my logo for my work. I also know how to take nice looking pictures of my work with a backdrop and I always have pictures to post of my work taken by professional photographers. Carries crochet is not just some cheapo crap thats going to last the season and then fall apart. I have people wearing my work going on 2 years now, back when I first started and it still looks nice. Plus I am always improving. I dont make much now. If people want to get crappy work made, then let them. I am not going to lower my prices to make people happy. I already only make $5-10 profit if I am lucky.
