Friends, its going to be an year since I was elected as a committee member of the colony where I reside currently. This colony is called Vivekandapuram colony and there are about 1500 plus families residing here. It is about 40years old colony and it comes under Malkajgiri Muncipality which is one of the largest Muncipality of Telangana Government. Today we started construction of aditional community hall with the funds granted by the government. We thank the government for this. The local MLA and the Corporator and the Circle Inspector of Neredmet PS attended the function to lay the foundation stone and commence the construction. We also started a Ladies Association where we have lots of activities. There is a school for under privileged children with a strength of about 120 kids in the colony, where I try to help in what way I can. It was really nice of the MLA to visit this school and promise to provide some basic amenities required and requested by the school teachers. The most common problem faced by the people living in this city is water problem and our colony is no exception to it. We discussed all the problems and look forward to the fulfilment of the promises made by the elected government.
