Friends, we will fly home tomorrow with grateful hearts! Mission accomplished here in South Korea. We (together with DS Balatan, our MEA Migrants Ministry coordinator and Dr Carlito n Dra Magdelana Puno) were able to connect with church leaders here and were able to lay the foundation of a strong Missions partnership. Upon arrival last Thursday, we visited the KMC Hqs, snd met wirh Seoul Bishop Kim Yeung Hun, who is also the KMC Mission Bp at Hilton hotel. Kanina, we met with General Secretaries in Cheung Jyu, where I introduced the program and DS balatan shared in detail our MOU with KMC. Praise God, we had a joyful fellowship lunch and planning with 8 Pinoy pastors last Friday in Seoul. Dr Kim do Bong, Rev Jee and Rev Choe were present. I preached in Sheung Nam last Sunday @ 11:30am. Rev Shin is the head pastor, and Ptr Jessica Ranches is the Filipino worker. At 3pm, i preached in Cheo Nan with Rev Dr David Paul Cleto as pastor. Dr Puno preached in Inchun where Rev John Manaois is our pastor. Because of time constraints, we were not able to preach in all Filipino worshipping congregations, including the one pastored by our longest Pinoy serving missionary, Rev Rosemarie Rapanut who has been serving at DMZ the past 17 yrs! And the church of Rev Dr Vreynel Camaso, our TEE supervisor in Buchon. With UTS as a partner, we now have a TEE program based in 4 areas. Rev Balatan stays in Sung Min Methodist church where one TEE group meets. Praise God for these breakthrougs and victories, and for the leadership of DS Aris Balatan as our Coordinator. Indeed, God is the god of all nations. Let us be obedient to His great commission! To HIM be all honor, glory and praise!!!
