Friends, what would you do when you don’t know what to do? Read and drop your comments: Please I need your help urgently. I just sense that my marriage is at the verge of crumbling and I need to act fast. I have been married for four years with a set of twin girls to show for it. I have been a happy mum until recently when I started feeling very uncomfortable with the closeness between my husband and his ex. Theyve always been close and he introduced her to me while we were courting as the lady he was to marry, but the girl’s father was not in support of their relationship so they broke up after 3years of courtship before I came into the picture. During our courtship which lasted for 2years, he was still very close to his ex which I really did not see anything wrong with, he even calls her name whenever he was trying to talk to me and I felt he will get over it with time. To my greatest amazement, my husband’s ex who is still not married started visiting us when we moved back to Lagos (we were in Kano the first 2years of our marriage), to the extent that my husband allowed her to spend the Easter weekend a few months ago claiming that she is a family friend. At the moment, their offices are in the same building on Lagos island and he keeps talking about her much more than necessary. Now he comes very late and looks too withdrawn from me and the kids. Our usual Saturday family get together has been cancelled for the past 5weeks as my husband is always in an undisclosed location on the island for one strategic meeting or the other every Saturday. I have confronted him on the issue and he has warned me never to insinuate that his ex has anything to do with his change in attitude since she is a very nice person. From my investigation, the lady’s father who stood as a barrier against their marriage is late. I am feeling so uncomfortable with the latest development, I don’t know the best approach to take and at the same time I am strongly convinced that there’s an emotional build up between them.
