Friends you dont have to be perfect in order to join a church. If we had to wait until we where perfect every church would be empty. We all fall short of his glory because we will never be Jesus. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice that freed us from our sins. But the point of being a Christian Is to strive to be Christ like. To follow in his foot step. To save to serve and to send. To be a part of the body and reach the lost. I realized today that I knew more than I thought I knew about Christianity. But still I feel as though I only know enough to know that I dont know enough. I dont resemble love in the way that God wants me to. Im not as humble as I should be. Im not as righteous as people think I am. Im just a man. a man who has flaws just as anyone else. A man who in many cases falls a victim to believing the standard of the world is good enough. God says there is no lesser of two evils. Evil is evil and there is no way around that. But good seems to use the most unlikely of vessels to fill with his light and shine in the darkest of places. Being a Christian is a lifestyle. It is a daily choice to be an ambassador of the church. To be a leader. To have a warriors heart and to stand for the truth. The 66 books in the bible never mentioned that it would be easy to transform. But when you completely surrender yourself to the creator. He strengthens you consistently. Faith hope and love will be poured into you so generously you cant help but spill out onto those around you. I pray that my words reach the hearts of all of you.
