The storm has calmed And on the second week The storm has calm Large and furious rain drops that hurt my skin Are now tinny soft rain drops that caress my body My white cotton dress is soaked Revealing the beauty of my body and my secrets Im looking up feeling the soft rain drops like delicate kisses On my face my throat and my chest My feet move slowly and tired for I had dance the storm For two long weeks this storm had poured on me The storm has calmed Im dancing slowly and twirling deliciously Feeling the fabric of my white cotton dress as I sway my hips I feel the soft mud on my feet And I not crying anymore, Im smiling Feeling the warm of the dirt floor, that keeps me put Standing up and in glory I open my arms and twril slowly One more time, one last time And this storm has calmed As I feel the soft raindrops soft as a whisper I put my arms up in the air and I said to my self quietly The storm has calmed and Ive survived yet one more You see. You my love, can bend me, but will never brake me You should know that by now. Im standing tall, I have not shame, for Ive honored you While I was yours your name you gave me, I honored that My Love , My promise of commitment, My Body I gave you You didnt Honor my gift. For you might not know what Honor is The Storm has Calmed and Im stronger then I ever was... And you have hurt me for the last time. Of that Im sure The Storm has Calmed By Sylvia Ngyen oh yes I the last name, Im keeping it
