From 2005, but it could just as easily have been delivered to Dick - TopicsExpress

From 2005, but it could just as easily have been delivered to Dick Cheney any time that he opens his lying mouth about Iraq. Parliament Member George Galloway can hardly take a breath with a litany like this. He was speaking to Senator Norm Coleman, who he called a pro-war, neo-con hawk and the lickspittle of George W. Bush. Coleman was defeated by Al Franken in 2008, but prevented from taking office for nearly half a year as Coleman fought the results in court (losing at every point along the way except in the first count—it was later determined that nearly a thousand absentee ballots were erroneously disqualified...hmmmm). This was considered perhaps the closest election in the history of the Senate, and a major reason that the big money men are pouring millions into the campaign against Al Franken. It is also a reason that I have given repeatedly to Frankens campaigns. I know a lot of us are politicked out, but this was a very important and factually accurate tirade delivered to a reactionary Republican Senator. Another kind of Throwback Thursday.
